Dr.Roberts
Dr. Roberts is a native of Colorado. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University in microbiology and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. Dr. Roberts worked as an associate veterinarian at Alameda East Animal Hospital from 1981 to 1984. During his tenure at Alameda, Dr. Roberts taught classes at the Bel-Rea School of Animal Technology. Dr. Roberts then journeyed on to form Douglas County Animal Hospital in July of 1984. The hospital was originally a mixed animal veterinary hospital. At that time, there were only three employees!! Some of Dr. Roberts’ hobbies include volleyball and flyfishing. Dr. Roberts’ family includes his wife Debra and three dogs named Floyd, Ruby and Madison..
Dr. Gervais
Dr. Gervais was born and raised in St. Paul , Minnesota. He attended the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1978. Dr. Gervais spent his first year out of veterinary school as an intern at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. In 1979, Dr. Gervais moved to Colorado. In 1993, Dr. Gervais joined the health care team at Douglas County Animal Hospital. He has one pet named Jenny, who is an American Black and Tan Coonhound. Dr. Gervais is an avid flyfisherman and he enjoys playing acoustic guitar.
Dr.Eppard
Dr. Eppard was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Springfield, VA. She attended Mary Washington College 1975 to 1978 and worked for the State Department and the U.S. House from 1978 to 1980. She moved to Denver in 1980 and worked for a corporate law firm as a legal assistant until 1989. From 1985 to 1989, Dr. Eppard attended Metropolitan State College as a part-time student in order to complete her pre-veterinary curriculum. She graduated from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1993. Dr. Eppard worked for a year in a mixed animal practice and then joined Douglas County Animal Hospital.
Dr. Quint
Dr. Quint was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1969. From 1974 until 1987, Dr. Quint lived in Montana. He graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. After two years of classes at Montana State University, Dr. Quint entered Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997. He spent nine months practicing small animal medicine in Montana and then in March of 1998, moved back to Colorado and joined the health care team at Douglas County Animal Hospital. Dr. Quint is now an associate veterinarian with our practice. He lives with his wife, seven cats, two dogs, and four finches!!
Dr. Thompson
Dr. Sheri Thompson was raised in Olympia, Washington. She earned her B.S. in animal sciences from Washington State University. She worked in the dairy industry and as a veterinary technician before attending veterinary school at Colorado State University. Dr. Thompson interned at Washington State University and worked in a mixed animal practice before joining Douglas County Animal Hospital in the spring of 2002. Dr. Thompson enjoys hiking, horses, cross-country skiing, and running. Her family includes a daughter named Leanne, significant other named Rod, two cats, an Anatolian, a Doberman, and two horses.
Dr. Holston
Dr. Karrie Holston was raised in Appleton, Wisconsin. She earned a Bachelor of Science in bacteriology and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Holston joined Douglas County Animal Hospital in June of 2002. She enjoys skiing, golf, and hiking. Dr. Holston has two cats and a dog.
Dr. Crippen (Picture coming soon) Dr. Lindsay Crippen was raised in Denver, CO. She attended Colorado State University where she majored in zoology and biology. Dr. Crippen received her veterinary degree from the University of Illinois. She joined our practice in October of 2003. Her hobbies include black & white photography, traveling, and the fiber arts. Her family includes a cat, dog, chinchillas, a guinea pig, a gerbil, 3 ferrets, a gecko, and 2 water turtles!
